The Depot Theatre Reopens

After nearly half a century of use, our theatre was ready for some upgrades. This winter and spring, thanks to a generous grant from The Depot Foundation, we gave our beloved theatre new life, replacing the old rope and bag rigging with electric, state-of-the-art equipment. We also replaced our stage thrust, investing in modular staging that can be configured in multiple different arrangements. This allows all sorts of folks to use the stage, and for the first time in decades, we can have musicians in the orchestra pit. Don’t worry—even after all these improvements, our theatre still has plenty of charm.

Join us on Tuesday, June 17th at 5pm for tours, drinks, a few remarks, and some fancy curtain work and help us launch our theatre into the next 50 years of entertainment, artistic expression, and community engagement.
