STEAM 2025

Here in Duluth, and truly all across St. Louis County, we’re beginning to slowly crawl our way toward spring. We’ve had perhaps four or more fools’ springs already, but we won’t be fooled again. As the weather warms and the last vestiges of winter melt away, (i.e. the giant pile of dirty snow in the corner of a parking lot) we Northlanders are filled with renewed energy to go out and do stuff!

If you and your whole family are in search of activities, The Depot has got stuff in abundance. One of those activities is the return of our much beloved STEAM Fest. This free event is a day filled to the gills with science, technology, engineering, art, math, and music. As you explore our beautiful 1892 union station, you’ll find an abundance of hands-on experiments and fantastic programming designed for kindergarten through fifth grade aged kiddos. Tons of great partnering organizations will be hosting activities all throughout the top two levels of the building, so you really won’t want to miss it.
