THE DEPOT

Join us this summer as we turn up the thrills in The Depot Theatre for our Summer Screams on The Depot Screens! Our first-ever series lineup will showcase four summer-themed horror movies that blend the heat of the season with the classic spine-tingling chill you love from a good horror flick. Flower crowns and themed costumes encouraged. Our last movie is Evil Dead 2!

Don’t let the 2 scare you, this film is a re-make, not a continuation of The Evil Dead franchise. When Ashley Williams and his girlfriend Linda arrive at a deserted cabin in the woods, they stumble across a book which releases evil forces beyond human understanding. This beloved cult classic oozes bright red cornstarch blood and goofy charm, and it’s simply too groovy to be missed.

Dani (Florence Pugh) is really going through it right now. In the wake of a family tragedy, she receives a last-minute invite to accompany her boyfriend Christian (Jack Reynor) and his friend group to Sweden for a pagan folk festival. As if having to hang out with her boyfriend’s friend group isn’t horrific enough, it quickly becomes clear that this festival is more intense than anticipated. Michael is desperate to know what happened but his father Brian avoids him, Granny shushes him, and his usually resilient mother can’t get out of bed.
