Join us in The Great Hall on July 23rd at 5pm for drinks, dedications, and desserts as we celebrate The Depot’s latest creative endeavor—Unsalted Magazine.
Unsalted is a new biannual print magazine that explores the personalities, culture, natural elements and manmade relics at the head of the Great Lakes. The St. Louis County Depot is coordinating the project, partnering with the design firm Graphic Science for creative direction and the arts and culture website Perfect Duluth Day for content development.
The debut issue centers on the theme “remnants,” and includes an in-depth report on the past and uncertain future of Duluth’s oldest existing piece of architecture, the Minnesota Point Lighthouse. It also features the return of Chris Monroe’s “Violet Days” comic strip, which ran in various newspapers from 1996 to 2018.
A free copy of the magazine will be available to all guests.
