Not a lot of attractions can say that, but with six organizations under one roof, it’s a pretty sure thing. History. Culture. Art. Education. Ojibwe Heritage. Theatre. Immigrant Experiences. Veteran Memorials. Trains. We have special Group Rates and love to give Guided Group Tours with advance planning. Whether you want to bring a school group or scout troop, or would like to add us to an itinerary for an adult day trip… we’ll make sure your visit to Depot leaves everyone with magical memories!

School Groups
The Depot is a perfect place for school trips (even virtual school trips). With several history museums all in one location, there are exhibits and content here to supplement nearly anything you’re studying in the classroom.
If you’re looking to round out your school visit, consider checking The Depot Theatre for any upcoming performances or perhaps a ride on the North Shore Scenic Railroad. Also within walking distance of the Depot is the Duluth Public Library, which is located just across the street, and the Great Lakes Aquarium and Playfront Park, both just a seven-minute walk across the bridge.
