Jazz at the Depot is back again with weekly performances each Saturday afternoon from 3-6PM starting January 4, 2020 and running every Saturday in January, February and March and April 11th and 25th. The former Saratoga Jazz Quartet, the same group that performed in Canal Park for years, but lost their home, has found a whole new audience to join their many fans and the response has been overwhelming. The group features; Paul Ierino, Randy Lee, Jerry Siptroth and John Thorene. They play a wide variety of traditional Jazz and Big Band numbers with interesting side commentary about the original artists and their times.
Patrons can park in either the 5th Avenue West or St. Louis County Heritage & Arts Center ramps and enter through the North Shore Scenic Railroad Lobby in the back of the Depot starting at two thirty each Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, the mood is fun. When the band hits the first note (G) of Take the A Train you’ll know that Jazz at the Depot is Back!
